Within a control group and its activation several value groups can be used/assigned for each dependency. This prevents possible redundancies in value groups, in case different value groups are required for several control groups having redundant fields/values.

...

For the use of several value groups for each dependency the same general rules for value groups are valid. (See also Grouping of Dependent Values):

  • The used grouping shall be identical for all value groups.

  • The used run number shall be identical in all value groups for the same field to be set.

Hence in this case, a field to be set (e.g. PERKZ) may exist in both value groups.

Meaning

1

In case of a manual change of the procurement type from X to E or F in plant 2000 for material type FERT and laboratory 001, ProMaterialData will create/expand the plant views depending on the new procurement type.
Values from two value groups will be used, whereas most of the values to be send are defined in a general value 2xxx_F_FERT, which are valid for all plants 2*. Value group 2000_E_FERT_L001 includes only specific values, which are to be set in case of laboratory 001.
