Several versions can be created for a structure relationship. A new version is always a 1:1 copy of the structure relationship from which it was created. A new version can be created via the pushbutton . Depending on the settings, the status of the direct predecessor version or of all predecessor versions is set to completed.
A structure relationship can also be created with a template. In this case, the same reference structure as the template is always used, but to a different target structure. The structure "built" in the template is taken over. One application is the transfer and further adaptation of structures to different organizational units. An attachment with template from the currently displayed one is created using the pushbutton .
