<REFMAT(...)> with parameters allows accessing data from a reference material using the handler REFMAT:MMS. See REFMAT:MMS Access to data of a reference material for a general definition of "reference material".

3. additional key values The material number is evaluated using the definitions or by enhancement. Here additional keys for accessing the corresponding table can be specified, multiple values separated by /. This keys are optional, see REFMAT:MMS for how the keys are evaluated if not specified.
