A reference material is a material which stays in a relationship to the matrial currently executed by ProMaterialData. Examples:

If in ProMaterialData such a reference material is registered (see Basic Settings and Integration and Enhancement Manual), then access to data of these reference material is possible in the filters, the activation and also by using the special value <REFMAT(..)>.
Access to the basic material views and to classification values are supported. The search help displays all valid tables and fields.

Optional key values for accessing the material master tables. See note below.


 

CLAS for access to classification values

class type / class name

Optional feature name.
If the feature name is specified, the corresponding value is returned if it exists.
Without a feature name, the system checks whether the class is assigned to the material master. If so, the value "<ALLOCATION>" is returned, i. e. it can be checked against this value in the filters. If there is no assignment, the system returns empty. See also CLASS:MMS – Characteristic Values.

Using an enhancement these registered key values can be set by using method SET_TABLE_KEYS of class /PRONOVIA/CL_MMS_REFMAT_DATA. Details see Integration & Enhancement Manual.

It should be noted that due to the different requirements, the parameters and their sequence in the special value <REFMAT (...)> and the handler REFMAT: MMS in the filter are different.
