<REFMAT(...)> with parameters allows accessing data from a reference material using the handler REFMAT:MMS. See REFMAT:MMS – Access to data of a reference material for a general definition of "reference material".

In parentheses following parameters separated by ; must be specified:

For material master tables

For characteristic values

2. characteristic name

3. additional key values
The material number is evaluated using the definitions or by enhancement. Here additional keys for accessing the corresponding table can be specified, multiple values separated by /.

Used in a value group * as key is supported:
If in a value group for a value to be set access to REFMAT is made and for a key value of this access * is specified, then this key value will be replaced by the corresponding key of the value group.

3. class type
This parameter is optional, default value is 001.

Examples:

<REFMAT(MARA;LABOR)>

The laboratory/office from the basic view of the reference material is used.

<REFMAT(MARC;DISPO)>

The MRP controller from the plant view of the reference material is used. This from the same plant as the processed plant of the active material (see notes in REFMAT:MMS).

<REFMAT(MARC;DISPO;3300)>

The MRP controller from the plant view of plant 3300 from the reference material is used.

<REFMAT(MVKE;PRODH;/)>

The product hierarchy of the sales view is read. For the key (sales organization and distribution channel) the same value as used in the actual value group will be used, which is the sales view currently created or maintained.
