Dieser Artikel behandelt die Verwendung von ProNovia CFM gemeinsam mit SAP ECTR.

Es gibt grundsätzlich zwei Szenarien bezüglich der Anwendung von SAP ECTR und ProNovia CFM. Je nach Art der Anwendung bei einem Kunden muss mit diesem die für ihn passende Lösung definiert werden.

  1. Der Kunde fährt einen ProNovia Material zentrierten Ansatz

    1. MM01 wird über Transaction Call aus ECTR aufgerufen und CFM läuft in einem SAP GUI Fenster (hell) ab.

    2. Bei der Anzeige der Materialien in ECTR inkl. der Dokumente wird der CFM Baustein „Lesen Konfigurationen“ von ECTR aufgerufen und die Daten werden entsprechend dargestellt.

Dieser Ansatz ist so bei Kunden von ProNovia aktiv.

  1. Kunde fährt einen Dokument zentrierten Ansatz, so wie ihn alle CAD-Integratoren propagieren

    1. ECTR ruft irgendwann im Entwicklungsprozess die Funktion „Anlegen Materialstamm“ auf und verknüpft  die selektierten Dokumente zum Material ohne Berücksichtigung auf das ProNovia Datenmodell. Es wird empfohlen an dieser Stelle dem Material einen Standard Konfigurationstyp (z.B. «INITIAL») zu vergeben.

    2. Hier kann das Material später im Lifecycle über einen KOFIMA-Typ Wechsel in das ProNovia CFM Datenmodell überführt werden.

    3. Falls schon bei der Anlage des Materials der korrekte Konfigurationstyp bestimmt werden soll, so müssen diese Daten aus einer zusätzlichen Maske in ECTR für die Materialanlage zu Verfügung gestellt werden.

There are basically two scenarios regarding the use of SAP ECTR and ProNovia CFM. Depending on the type of application at a customer, the appropriate solution must be defined with the customer.

1. The customer drives a ProNovia material centered approach

  1. MM01 is called via Transaction Call from ECTR and CFM runs in a SAP GUI window (light).

  2. When displaying the materials in ECTR including the documents, the CFM module "Read Configurations" is called from ECTR and the data is displayed accordingly.

This approach is active at customers of ProNovia.

2. Customer drives a document centered approach as propagated by all CAD integrators.

  • At some point in the development process ECTR calls the function "Create material master" and links the selected documents to the material without considering the ProNovia data model. It is recommended to assign a default configuration type (e.g. "INITIAL") to the material at this point.

  • Here, the material can be transferred to the ProNovia CFM data model later in the lifecycle via a KOFIMA type change.

  • If the correct configuration type is to be determined when the material is created, this data must be made available from an additional mask in ECTR for the material creation.

The third approach is used by ProNovia customers, with and without ECTR (from PDM system).
