In order to avoid the testing of all filter of all control groups which have been defined in the system, this selection table allows preselecting the control groups.
Which fields must be checked with which values must be set in the basic settings according to MMS Basic Settingssettings → "Fields for Control Group Selection". The access to this selection table at runtime will be performed as follows:
Depending on the call, the material transaction and / or the material creation the possible call-up times will be added to the selection.
Depending on the processing type (single or mass processing), the possible values will be added to the selection (see also MMS Basic Settingssettings → "Program / Transaction Mass Processing").
For each defined field according to MMS Basic Settingssettings → "Fields for Control Group Selection", one selection entry will be made into the corresponding selection value field of the selection table. Always the newest value according to Basic Settings > "Fields for Control Group Selection" OR a blank will be selected.
No special values are accepted, whereas a blank selection value will be accepted as valid entry (see example below).
The definition above „for each defined field" implies, that a selection value will be ignored, if no corresponding field has been defined according to MMS Basic Settingssettings → "Fields for Control Group Selection".
The numbering of the selection fields and selection values do correspond with each other. E.g. selection field 1 corresponds with selection value 1, etc.

According to this selection fields the current values for material type (MARA-MTART) and characteristic PDM_MM_MATTYP are determined and used for the access to the selection table.
