All relevant metrics are stored in separate statistics tables. After completion of a process, the necessary data for analysis is saved in separate statistics tables. This has been done since BPF version 4.0, so all processes are automatically statistics-relevant after the new version is installed. Statistics data for older processes can be created with manual backfilling, which is explained in the following section.

Manuelle Fortschreibung

The /PCH/BPF_PPA_MIGRATION report can be used to regenerate statistics data for existing processes. Input of the internal process ID is required. By entering a blank space or an asterisk (*), all available processes will be regenerated. This may take some time.

If already existing statistics are regenerated, they will be overwritten.

The following options are available for generation:

  • Create only missing processes

    • This option creates a delta of all processes that do not have entries in the statistics tables yet. This option is useful if a large number of processes need to be generated during a regeneration. Runtime is saved by determining the deltas.

  • Delete selected processes
