If a user is involved in a process, corresponding activities are assigned to the user. These end up in the central entrance, in widget “My Activities“. Since each activity is based on an SAP Business Work Item, all assigned activities can also be displayed and processed via the SAP Business Workplace.

Basically, a single activity can be assigned to several users. However, an activity is always only processed by one user. Participating users can explicitly reserve the activity for themselves. An automatic reservation is made as soon as a user starts processing a task of the activity. As soon as an activity has been reserved by a user, it is removed from the inbox of the other possible agents.

Activities can be displayed in the widget by double-clicking on them. The context menu provides additional functions for reserving, returning, and forwarding activities. You can also change the priority and jump to any main object.
