News feeds can be subscribed to the ProNovia documentation (RSS feeds). RSS makes it possible to subscribe to the content of a website or parts of it. The contents can be automatically downloaded to the computer, mobile phone, etc. by means of RSS. In this way, the subscriber automatically and conveniently receives the latest information.
Below you will find information on possible RSS feeds and how they can be integrated using Microsoft Outlook as an example.
RSS Feeds
The RSS feeds of the ProNovia documentation are generated dynamically on the basis of the links used. Below are the links to the individual ProNovia documentation areas available.
Any such RSS links can be created in the online documentation. This can also be done using labels, e.g. product abbreviations. For this purpose, the function "Feed builder" can be called up in the display of a documentation via the help icon .
ProNovia does not provide support for creating your own feeds via the "Feed builder" function. This is a feature of Atlassian / Confluence and details can be found in the relevant Atlassian online documentation.
Using the feeds in an RSS news reader
In general, the above feeds can be used in an RSS News Reader by inserting the appropriate link.
Example Microsoft Outlook 365

Switch to the RSS Feeds tab

Insert the corresponding link
according to the examples above
If the "Feed builder" is used, the link can be copied directly into the corresponding field using drag & drop of the "ATOM | FEED".
The RSS feed inserted in this way is then displayed in the Outlook Mail view in the "RSS subscriptions" folder.
