To all options listed default ProMassOperations operations also the client can define specific actions. Which objects will be handled, and how they are handled is not controlled by ProMassOperations and will not be described. However the definition of the data and the handling is similar to the default processes.
Material Operation

  • Via BOM
    • BOM; Start changes Starts a change process on material master records. The data is defined by the BOM of the initial material.
    • Material / Material BOM; Clone Starts a clone process on material master records and BOM. The data is defined by the BOM of the initial material.
    • Material / Material BOM; Clone Views Starts a clone process to clone material views on material master records and BOM. The data is defined by the BOM of the initial material. When plant data is cloned, also the relevant BOM are cloned.
    • Material BOM Check / Release Process via Material Starts a check and release process on material master records. The data is defined by the BOM of the initial material. The cross plant material status of the selected material master records will be set directly.
    • Material BOM > Check / Release Process via ProConfiguration Primary Document Starts a check and release process on material master records. The data is defined by the BOM of the initial material. The document status of the material's primary document will be used. Based on a relation the document will then set the cross plant material status of the material master record. This option is only available in combination with ProConfiguration.
  • Via Material Search
    • Material Search > Start Change Material Starts a change process on a material master record. The data is defined by a material selection.
    • Material Search > Check / Release Process Material Starts a check and release process on material master records. The data is defined by a material selection. The cross plant material status of the selected material master records will be set directly.
    • Material Search > Check / Release Process ProConfiguration Primary Document Starts a check and release process on material master records. The data is defined by a material selection. The document status of the material's primary document will be set. Based on a relation the document will then set the cross plant material status of the material master record. This option is only available in combination with ProConfiguration.
    • Material Search > Start Change Document Starts a change process on document info records, the suitable document info records are defined by the linked material master records, resp. a material selection.
    • Material Search > Check / Release Process Document Starts a check and release process on document info records. The document info records are defined via linked material master records, resp. a material selection.

Client Specific Material Operation

  • Via BOM
    • BOM; Client Specific Top-Down Action Client specific action with selection via BOM, processed top-down like a change process.
    • BOM; Client Specific Bottom-Up Action Client specific action with selection via BOM, processed bottom-up like a check and release process.
  • Via Material Search
    • Material Search; Client Specific Action Client specific action with selection via material selection.

Document Operation

  • Via Document structure
    • Document structure; Start Change Process Starts a change process on document structure. The data is defined by the document structure of the initial document.
    • Document / Document structure; Clone Starts a clone process on document info records and BOM. The data is defined by the document structure of the initial document.
    • Document structure; Check / Release Process Document Starts a check and release process on document info records. The data is defined by the document structure of the initial document.
  • Via Document Search
    • Document search > Start Material Change Starts a change process on material changes. The data is defined by a document selection which will then define the linked material master records.
    • Document Search> Check / Release Process Material Starts a check and release process on material master records. The data is defined by a document selection which will then define the linked material master records. The cross plant material status of the selected material master records will be set.
    • Document Search > Check / Release Process ProConfiguration Primary Document Starts a check and release process on material master records. The data is defined by a document selection which will then define the linked material master records. The document status of the material's primary document will be set. Based on a relation, the document will then set the cross-plant material status of the material master record. This option is only available in combination with ProConfiguration.
    • Document Search > Start Change Document Starts a change process on document info records. The data is defined via document selection.
    • Document Search > Check or Release Process Document Starts a check and release process on document info records. The data is defined via document selection.

Client Specific Document Operation

  • Via Document structure
    • Document Structure; Client Specific Top-down Action Client specific action with selection via document structure, processed top-down like a change process.
