The migration sub menu provides various SAP DMS migration functions.
Special function to migrate the document type. All data and links will remain. All usages of the document info records will be adapted, too. (BOM, production resources and tools, etc.).
Please note, that the migration of document types in IS-H tables is not supported and that the document types will stay as before in these tables!
This function is protected by authorizations (See ADM | ProAdmin | Customizing Manual).
The documents can be filtered additionally by customer exits. Client individual actions are also possible before and after the change process.

Status Mapping
In case the status net of the target document is different from the status net of the source document type, a status conversion is required. In a selection screen, the possible status FROM to the possible corresponding status TO must be selected. Suitable status will be listed.
All registered values will be saved and provided for next function runs with same document types.
