ProMassMaintain is a tool for the simultaneous maintenance of master data on a large selection of objects. For this purpose, various help functions are provided in the application for building the corresponding object lists and for the actual data maintenance. The data is kept in internal data areas until it is applied to the SAP objects. Depending on the settings, other sub-objects/views of a leading object are also displayed in the interface and offered for maintenance. Examples of such objects:
Material master, its descriptions, characteristic values, and plant, sales and distribution and other views
Document info record, its descriptions and characteristic values
ProMassMaintain is an application developed entirely in ProFramework.

By default, ProDocument can be started via one of the SAP transactions /PCH/MSM or /PCH/MSM1 to /PCH/MSM9. These transactions can be assigned to corresponding ProFramework interface definitions via ProFramework Customizing.
