Definition of Views for Extension

First the initial material is selected, then the current views are determined and the dialogue to set the views to be cloned is started.

In this dialogue the user defines which material views are copied to which organizational units. The previous selection is pre-set.

For option "Reference Material" only views can be copied, which are existing for the initial material.

Option "Free Selection" allows to select any organizational unit as source. If the search help is used, existing views of the initial material are marked:

Before the source and target keys of the organizational units can be selected, it must always be marked first that this view is to be copied. For this purpose, the corresponding checkbox under copy must be activated.

Then, on the left side, you can select which view is to be used as a reference (copy from this view) and, on the right side, according to which organizational unit this view is to be cloned.

With enter the values are checked and the current status, i.e. whether the corresponding target views exist, is displayed. This status applies to the initial material, the status of the components in the BOM is checked and displayed subsequently.

With the function Start mass operation the dialog is left, the structures and data are read, checked and displayed in the main dialog.
