Groups and Run Numbers
For complex definitions within the dependencies it is very important to select names and numbers carefully for groupings and run numbers. Else the definition may become very confusing.
The following definition of dependent values, which will create new views after creating a new material, is an example of how to select group names and run numbers reasonably, so that the definition becomes clearly arranged. The numbers used in this example will be explained below.

Groups | Explanation |
---|---|
1 MATERIAL | Values in addition to the material basic data. Classification values will also be listed under this group name, but clearly indicated by another run number. |
2 MENGENEINH | Definition of an alternative unit of quantity for basic data. |
2 WERK0001 | Two plant views shall be created with their valuation (accounting data). Data from plant 0001 including valuation will be kept under group name 2 WERK0001, plant view 0002 and valuation under group name 3 WERK0002. |
5 VK000101 | Definition of a sales view including necessary country specific tax data. |
