CLASS:MMS – Characteristic Values
It is not recommended to use characteristics with intervals or units of measurement, as the behavior may change in the future.

Depending on the option „use changed data" the values will be read either from the data base or the current, eventually changed values.
In case it shall only be checked, whether a class has been assigned or not, target field 3 (characteristic) must remain blank. The handler will then automatically fill in the special value <ALLOCATION> for the value to be checked. Depending on the operator it will then be checked, whether the operator has already been assigned (=) or not (<>).
For class name the wild card character * can be used. So with for example "SCHRAUBEN*" and <ALLOCATION> it is checked if any class allocation matching the search pattern exists.
Example, which checks assignment for „SCHRAUBEN_IS" during the activation…
…and the relevant action to assign this class.
Only character-type characteristics or non-character-type characteristics without interval and without unit of measurement are supported. For characteristics with an interval or unit of measurement, you can only use the lower value without a unit of measurement. The specification is always in the internal format.
It is not recommended to use characteristics with intervals or units of measurement, as the behavior may change in the future.
