Structure Relation

An ProStructure structure relation defines the type of relation, the top object of the reference and target structure, and the validity to be used for the structure explosions and maintenance of the SAP structures. Such a relation always has definition, status and administrative information. The keys of the structures differ depending on the type of structure and correspond to the SAP standard key fields for the respective object type.

• The Type of Relation determines whether a relation is only comparative or also changing.

• The SMC Relation DefinitionSMC Relation Definitionis determined by the settings defined in Customizing. A structure relation can only be created if a definition can be determined for the combination of data for the reference and target structure.

• The Validities regulates the validity with which the structures are read and also applied to SAP.

• The Status of a structure relation defines and informs about the status of the relation and are generally set automatically.
