Specific characteristics of various widgets of ProFramework will be described below.
A widget stands for flexible, independent reusable screen sections with object specific and context sensitive functionality.
A widget
provides specific information
offers functions for its content
is able to interact with other widgets (within the same ProNovia product), e.g. when a file is moved from widget File Explorer into widget DMC-Browser by drag & drop, a document info record will be created in a SAP DMS structure
can be displayed individually and customer specifically on the screen (see Adjustment of Widgets).
The titles of the widgets are freely selectable via Customizing. The names in the information shown should therefore be regarded as general and may be different in your company.
