Administration Material Status Log

Allows modifying certain fields and deleting whole lines in the ProNovia SAP PLM ConfigurationManager material status log.

Caution: manipulation of the material status log can affect the control of CFM processes.
In particular, deleting lines for configuration type changes or those at the start of a processing scenario can result in the material no longer being controlled correctly.

After entering the material number for which the status log lines are to be maintained, the SAP standard log display of the CFM material status is called up. The following additional functions are offered:

	Edit selected status log line.
	Delete selected status log line.
	Save the changes made. This is offered only after a data change.
	Discard changes and exit.

Edit

The line to be edited must be selected. A dialog box is called up in which the fields that can be changed are ready for input:

Notes on the fields

Combinations of material status and processing scenario are checked. If a combination is not possible according to Customizing, a warning is issued.
In the log field, the user log field is edited.
The filter refers to the filter for the processing scenario according to the assignment of processing scenarios to the configuration types. Display filters run independently of the editing scenario. A filter should always be maintained together with a processing scenario.
On the fields for change number, revision and alternative date, a search help is available, which provides the existing data for client or possible plant revision.
The fields under "Control" mark status protocol entries with special functions. The following values can be entered in the Codes field:
- C = Marks a status change which rejects a change ("declined").
- K = Marks a configuration type change. In the control info, the old configuration type is entered after the text, separated by ":".
- S = Marks the start of an editing scenario.

Delete

The line to be deleted must be marked. A dialog will ask whether the record should really be deleted.

Save

The changes (edited or deleted records) are not updated in the database until they are saved using the Save button. If the log display is left without saving, a warning is issued.
