CHD Utility Programs

There are following utility programs available.

Status Synchronisation

The program /PRONOVIA/CHD_SYNC_STATUS provides the possibility to synchronise the status of a change document with the status of its main document. This means the status of the change document can be adapted to the status of its main document.

The program checks if the chosen status to set on the change document is really the same as the one on the main document. If this is not the case, the respective DIR won't be included into the processing data list.
The new status is set using the SAP API function module 'CVAPI_DOC_CHANGE'. That way, any status can be set immediately without following an existing status net.

The program is executed directly via one of the transactions SA38 / SE38 / (SE80). After start, the following selection screen is displayed with the depicted processing options. After execution, the chosen operation will be processed.

CHD document number	Document number of the change documents to process
CHD part document	Part document of the change documents to process
CHD document version	Document version of the change documents to process
CHD target status	Target status to set on the selected change documents Its not possible to set any target status freely. The target status has to be the same like the status that is set on the main document belonging to the change document. So, only the change documents which belong to a main document with the chosen target status are selected.
Processing options
Display description	If this option is marked, the descriptions of the selected documents will be read as well and displayed on the result list. If the number of hits are very big, not marking this option can speed up the execution of the program a bit.
Status protocol field	The status change of the change document will be logged in the status protocol of the DIR. In this field, a desired protocol text can be enter.
Test mode	Using this options, the documents will be selected and displayed afterwards, but no change will be made to the data set.
Show selection list	Before the (pre-)selected documents are changed, a selection list is displayed. On it, every document can be chosen individually for change (or not).
Execute directly	The selected documents are changed directly.
