Value check and confirmation

The values that are entered in a field are checked immediately after the input is confirmed or within the respective function. Only the field value content according to the field definition is checked at this time. The consistency of the data as a whole is only checked when the data is checked and applied (see Checking and applying the data).

In case of errors during data entry or when setting values directly in the field (also with Drag&Drop), any errors are displayed in the error log window of the list when confirming the input:

The functions "Replace Value", "Set Value" and "Initialize Value" check the value on the selected objects. The result of the check is displayed in a dialog. In this dialog, the selection on which the function is executed can be changed again if necessary:

Objects which have already been assigned the value to be set will be ignored by the function and not displayed.
