Only used for mass operations on document info records.

Clone process

Defines which documents can be used and which status is required to clone a document info record. The status changes will only be used by this setting if the status control for Clone; Settings/Copy has been set accordingly and only the field status FROM will be used.

Field Sequence will not be used.

Check, Release and Change Process

Defines the status changes to be handled.

Only documents are handled which have the correct type according to the setting.
If a document has no defined status FROM, all predecessors of status TO are possible. If ProConfiguration is installed, the configurations type will have influence, else all defined status according SAP DMS customizing.
For actions on document info records based on a material search, these settings determine which document types will be indicated and handled.

The object relations of ProConfiguration will be respected if a possible status change is checked. The status change list used at run time can be handled with a customer exit.

In case a target status shall be defined (document has a valid target status which is not set by this process), "--" can be used as special value. These documents will be marked with icon "valid target status" (green). This may be the case for check processes, in case of released documents, which are not set by this process.

Field "Sequence" is only used for documents which are selected by a document or material search. The documents are then handled in the selected sequence, which may be necessary, if dependencies of document types to a material master are relevant. Example: The document status of CAD Model is set before a CAD drawing before a data package.

In case the mass operation is used in combination with ProConfiguration , field "Config.Type" is a filter for the material. With option "Processing Scenario", the relevant processing scenario for the next status (status TO) can be defined.

If any document type of a document from the document BOM is not registered, all documents below will be ignored, although they have the correct document type.

In case of a mass operation for a change process for documents, the document type status TO must have a valid initial or primary status acc. to the SAP DMS settings. If other status are entered, an error message will appear and the execution will not be performed.
