Depending on the settings of the screen scaling, it is possible that Office documents in SAP-DVS but also in the ProNovia applications are not displayed inplace or offered for editing. Only an empty black area is displayed and the document is opened outplace. There is the SAP Note 2739132. Contrary to the note, the error can also occur with only one screen, but corresponding scaling.
The error can currently only be circumvented by setting the setting for "Use multiple displays" to the value "Optimized for compatibility" in the Word / Excel options, as described in the SAP Note:
