Field

Description

Name

The application name is shown in the title bar of SAP GUI. The title can be influenced dynamically by the following place holders:

  • <SY?????> - Display of content of any field from the global SY-structure (e.g. system ID <SYSYSID>, client <SYMANDT> etc.).

  • <?VS> - Display of ProNovia product version. Placeholder "?" must be replaced by internal ProNovia product ID (e.g. <DMCVS>).

Place holders are set only when the application is started. They are not refreshed. Therefor it is not recommend to use changing system fields, e.g. time.

License ID

Every Application needs a valid license to start. Because application can mix various ProNovia product the automatic determination of the right license is not possible.

Widgets and business objects are checking their "own" product licenses. Please make sure you choose a suitable license for your application.

Layout Left / Center

A start layout for the left and center area can be defined. Normally an application is started with a certain object type which should activate layouts automatically (see Start and Layout Activation). A definition of start layouts is only used, when no start object is defined or if a static layout on the left side should be loaded.

Disable User Settings

If set, the button for changing the user settings will not be displayed.

Disable Layout Manager

If set, the button for changing the layout will not be displayed.

Description

The description is not displayed within the application. It's only used for the internal documentation of customizing.
