With this simple task you can define a navigation to an navigation target from the role-based navigation. The tab Further settings contains the following two entries:

Navigation target

Here you specify a navigation target, which you define in the customizing. Details to navigation targets are described in the documentation.

Skip start screen

If the navigation target contains a start screen, which can be skipped, then this can be achieved with the checkbox

Specific Tasks

For specific use cases, there are specific tasks that can be used without having to specify the role-based navigation in the task, since the action of the task is specified in the task itself. The tasks take into account the settings in the role-based navigation and use the default navigation without any further settings.

Display / change object

Calls the functionality to display or change an object.

Create object

Calls the functionality for dialog-based creation of an object. The object can be added to the object list.

Create object with template

Calls the functionality for dialog-based creation of an object with template. The object can be added to the object list.

Create language document

Calls the functionality for dialog-based creation of a language document.

Only available for objects of type Document.

Create document version

alls the functionality for dialog-based creation of a new document version.

Only available for objects of type Document.

Create material view

Calls the functionality for general view enhancement (generally MM01).

Only available for objects of type Material.
