General Object Control

The object control in a processing scenarios defines the objects to be handled and if set acc. to certain specific options.

Especially the standard behavior of the object relevance and the object can be overruled by the object control. It is also possible to define the behavior of ProConfiguration in an object scenario, if no object dialog is processed (background process, e.g. when using  or if the process is marked for background process).

Therefore CFM will only handle an object if it is listed in the object control of a processing scenario (directly or masked with *). This is also relevant for the transfer of open changes on BOM and/or routings. It will only be possible, if the relevant object MAST/PLKO is listed.

Exceptions are only possible for data packages, which will be handled automatically as soon as an object linked to this data package is created or changed.

Object Control for Creation with Template

When creating material master records with templates, it is possible to control the behavior during the creation of the document object by using a processing scenario.

Behavior

Creation with template WITH object transfer

Document objects will be created with template. Document objects of material template will be used as template (if suitable objects are existing in the data packages).

Else

Document objects will be created initially acc. customizing and user selection.

(*) = ProConfiguration  type of processing scenario in customizing settings Activities processing scenarios.

In case of the following relation types or action always a creation with object transfer will be performed (if necessary regarding the definition of relations):

  • Derivation of creation with template (MM01)

  • Derivation of creation (MM01, query raw part)

  • Change of configuration type with derivation/exchange raw part

  • Derivation from family expansion

  • Creation of a new family member
