A mass maintenance is carried out in ProMassMaintain in a so-called mass maintenance task. A maintenance type is always assigned to such a mass maintenance task, which controls which objects and data can be included in the task. These objects and data are then also stored for this mass maintenance task.

Each ProMassMaintain maintenance task is assigned to a maintenance type. This defines among other things:

  • Which is the leading object of the maintenance task.

  • Which subobjects / views are included in the maintenance task. Different filters can also be defined, e.g. only a selection of plants for a material or only certain languages of the description for an object.

  • Which fields of these (sub-) objects are offered for display and maintenance.

  • Whether the objects are determined on the basis of a structure or by a free object selection.

In the following descriptions of the widgets, the data fields are described in detail.
