If objects are inserted in the mass maintenance task using one of the functions described below, the following steps are carried out for all of them:
- The object types are checked.
- The system checks whether the corresponding object is already contained in the mass maintenance task.
- The blocks of sub-objects are formed and the data is read.
- If no data can be determined for the main object, the object cannot be transferred either. Example:
- A material is added to a mass maintenance task based on the material master, but only plant data is displayed and no corresponding data is found for the corresponding material.
- If all objects can be transferred, this is done without further dialog.
- If not all objects can be transferred because either the wrong object type or they already contain objects, this is displayed in a dialog.
- If objects can be transferred in such a case, you can decide whether this should be done or not.
