After entering all required values and after process start, all structures and objects will be read in and validated. For function "Clone material view" the view control dialogue will be processed in advance.
The following validations are performed depending on the function. The result may lock also subordinate or superior objects for a selection.
- Change process: Is entry object the highest element in the structure? Else a warning will be send. Behaviour may be altered by client specific enhancements.
- Clone process: Has the current structure already be cloned? Has the clone process been completed? See also Continue Clone Process
- Clone material views: Are all referenced views and views to be created as well as all BOM existing?
- Material search, with actions on linked documents: Any relevant documents assigned to the selected material master record?
- Documents: Shall the document be edited?
- Status change: Status change possible for this object?
- Object change: Object in change with one of the change numbers? Can the object be changed or cloned?
- With ProConfiguration: Is the status change acc. status net (material) and object dependencies possible?
- Check by a client specific action (customer exit): Does any customer exit prevent the operation?
