Attribute types

Attributes are used in ProIntegrationLib the CAD integrations, the CAD types and the relationships between the CAD types. This view is only used as a utility, so that a search help can be offered in the corresponding views. The attribute types used in the Customizing templates are also delivered with the Customizing templates.
Which attributes are possible and necessary is defined in the projects with the relevant CAD integration partner.
The possible standard attributes are described in GCP Standard Relationships and Attributes.

CAD integration

Each CAD type is assigned to a CAD integration. These CAD integrations are defined here.

Field

Description

CAD integration

Identification of CAD integration.

Description

Name of the CAD integration.

Plug-In Type

If necessary, special code is executed for a CAD integration via a PlugIn. This is currently used for the following CAD integrations:
DSC NX CAD integration (UGDSC ) Plug-In type: /PRONOVIA/DSCUG

CAD-System

If you use CAD integration from the CAD desktop, enter the CAD system in accordance with the CAD desktop settings.

Attributes for CAD Integration

Defines attributes and their values for the CAD integrations.

Field

Description

CAD integration

The identification of the CAD integration.

Attribute

The attribute identification, see also Attribute Types. The possible standard attributes are described in GCP Standard Relations and Attributes.

Value

The value of the attribute.

CAD types

A document that is relevant for the ProConfiguration is defined as ProConfiguration object by its object identification. In the ProConfiguration object definition, a CAD type can then be assigned to such an object. Only these document objects are relevant to CAD from the point of view of the ProIntegrationLib.
The CAD types are defined in this setting.

Field

Description

CAD type

The identification of a CAD type. This identification is assigned to the objects in ProConfiguration-Customizing in the object definition. See also CFM Customizing.

The CAD types delivered with the Customizing templates are predefined and must be adhered to. Other customer-specific CAD types can be named freely.

Decription

The name of the CAD type

Internal type

The ProIntegrationLib internal type. The following types are possible:

  • Main drawing
  • Explosion drawing
  • Unspecific drawing
  • Fitting model
  • Master model
  • Raw part model
  • Unspecific model
  • Dummy Model

CAD integration

Each CAD type must be assigned to a CAD integration.

Attributes to CAD types

Relations to CAD types

If two CAD types are in a relationship (for example, parent-child via a structure or original reference), this relationship is entered here.

Field

Description

CAD-Typ 1/from

The first CAD type (from ) of the relationship.

CAD-Typ 2/to

The second CAD type ( to) of the relationship.

Relation

The type of relationship. See GCP Standard Relationships and Attributes.
