In a company there are always situations where different master data of a large number of objects have to be maintained. When using the standard maintenance functions, this is very time-consuming, since each object must be called and maintained individually. ProMassMaintain is a tool which offers the data of many objects and if necessary sub-objects / views of these simultaneously in a compact and clear form for revision.

Such a mass maintenance takes place in ProMassMaintain in a so-called mass maintenance task. The mass maintenance tasks are created by the users and a maintenance type is always assigned. This maintenance type controls which objects and sub-objects/views are supported and which fields and/or characteristics can be displayed or maintained. Details are given in the following sections.

Overview of the user interface

The following is an overview of the application areas (widgets) of a ProMassMaintain application. In the following sections their data, functions and also the interaction between these areas are described in detail.

The names of the widgets may be different in your company, as may the layout of the interface.
