ProNovia offers various so-called customizing templates for its products, i.e. customizing settings which can be loaded via the corresponding function in the ProBasicLib (UTI) utilities.
Primarily these are ProFramework application templates, each for specific applications:
ProDocument
ProMaterial
etc.
ProFramework allows to combine applications and objects in any way. However, the templates provided are generally only ever offered for a specific application.
Example:
The ProPLMClient customizing template contains only widgets of the product ProPLMClient, but can be extended e.g. customer specific with widgets of other products like ProConfiguration.
These templates are to be regarded as "samples" and must be adapted in most cases for the respective needs.
Any templates other than application templates are described in the documentation for the corresponding products.
The customizing templates are available for each product on the customer download page
ProFramework application templates can be imported to the customer system via the "Customizing up / download" function in the ProBasicLib (UTI) utilities.
Depending on the product, different variants are available for the import:
Variant "Application settings (AFW)" imports only the AFW application.
Variant "Application and Functions (AFW)" imports the AFW application and the function definitions for the "Functions" widget
Variant "Function definitions (AFW)" imports the function definitions for the "Functions" widget
It is recommended to copy the imported ProFramework applications (AFW) to a customer-specific application ID and to make customer-specific adjustments to it. This way the current template can be loaded from ProNovia at any time.
Variants other than those listed here should not be used without consultation with ProNovia and appropriate expert knowledge.

The adjustment of the customizing settings, which are generated by the templates, requires appropriate customizing knowledge of the corresponding product.
Importing customizing templates can also overwrite existing settings if handled incorrectly.
Creating your own customizing export and import variants requires expert knowledge of the corresponding tables. Exports with improper settings can overwrite existing settings during importing in such a way that the corresponding applications no longer function.
