Navigation Definition

This view allows defining all specific settings relevant for the ProEasyBrowse search help.

Navigation definition
ID ESB	Technical identification of the navigation definition.
Description	Description of navigation definition.
Class Type	Defines initial class type and object type indirectly (Material, document).
Class	Initial Class Don't use character „" for class names. For the picture search the class name is relevant und acc. to the naming convention the „" is reserved for separation. This way pictures cannot be determined correctly.
Object Trans.	Transaction to be used when jumping to the object. As a standard transaction MM03 is used for materials, CV03N for documents.
Search Help Name	Assignment to a ProEasyBrwose search help (/PRONOVIA/ESB_*). If more than one navigation definition is assigned to the same transaction code or search help, a pop-up will appear before displaying ProEasyBrwose and all assigned navigation definitions will be listed for selection.

Display Control
Class Disp. Charact.	The display of characteristics can be controlled by the classification. Therefore class category 012 will be assigned to one or more classes. If the characteristic value is set "1", it will be displayed explicitly. Else it will not be displayed in the object display. Overrules basic setting Use characteristic value settings for display.
Display Characteristic	Determines whether a characteristic will be displayed in the object display (see also above).
Max. No. Objects	Maximum number of objects to be shown in the object display. Standard limit is 9999.
Max. No. Char.	Maximum number of characteristics to be shown in the object display. Standard limit is 9999.
View settings
Pic. Width pix.	Picture width in pixel. Standard value is 100 pixels. Please refer to Pictures .
Pic. Height pix.	Picture height in pixel. Standard value is 100 Pixel. Please refer to Pictures .
Type	Format of pictures (GIF or JPG).
Logical file path.	Logical path to locally filed picture or accessible network Pictures \| Local Pictures[inlineExtension] . If the pictures are stored on the content server, this path is used to check in local copies. For more information please refer to Pictures \| Local Pictures[inlineExtension] .
Pict. on Cont. Serv.	If activated, pictures are not stored locally but read from the server and stored as temporary copies. Therefore for each picture a class document must be created (document info record), where the picture must be checked in.
Show text below picture	If activated, the classification name will be displayed below the picture.
