DERIV_REF

Defines a relationship between a source CAD type and a target CAD type in a derivation. With such a reference in a derivation, the original documents are always copied from the reference document to the new document, even if they belong to different document types.

ORIG_REF

If a material is created with a reference, and these are different configuration types, or in the case of a change with a change of configuration type, different CAD types can be used in the new configuration type than in the source, if necessary. Since these normally belong to other document types, these documents cannot be created with a reference, and no document originals are copied. This relationship ensures that the document originals are copied from an original CAD type to the target CAD type after the document has been created.

An object link is created from the document with CAD type 1/from to the document with CAD type 2/to.

All

A structure (BOM) is created for the document with CAD type 1/from and all documents with CAD type 2/to are inserted as components.
