REFMAT:MMS – Access to data of a reference material
A reference material is a material which stays in a relationship to the matrial currently executed by ProMaterialData. Examples:
A seed part
A raw material
A follow up material
etc.
If in ProMaterialData such a reference material is registered (see MMS Basic Settings ) and Integration and Enhancement Manual (MMS | ProMaterialData | Integration & Enhancement), then access to data of these reference material is possible in the filters, the activation and also by using the Special Values <REFMAT(..)>.
Access to the basic material views and to classification values are supported. The search help displays all valid tables and fields.
Value Handler | Filterfield 1 | Filterfield 2 | Filterfield 3 |
---|---|---|---|
REFMAT:MMS | Material master tables | Field | Optional key values for accessing the material master tables. See note below. |
CLAS for access to classification values | class type / class name | Optional feature name. If the class name contains one of the special characters #, * or /, then this character must be used together with the escape character #. Example: Class name: RED/BLUE |
Key values for accessing the material master data tables
The material number will defined using the reference material settings. For other tables than the basic data (MARA) other key values are required for the access.
If these key values are entered here in Filterfield 3 and more than one value is required, this values must be separated using the character /.
Except for MARA, without the definition of key values the currently for the reference material registered keys will be used. By defining the reference material using the settings in MMS Basic Settings , this are the key values of the material views which where processed on the active material. Examples:
A plant view 0001 is created:
The plant 0001 will be available as key for the reference material too
Only basic data is maintained, no other views loaded:
Without entering key values, all data access except MARA will return no data
Using an enhancement these registered key values can be set by using method SET_TABLE_KEYS of class /PRONOVIA/CL_MMS_REFMAT_DATA. Details see Integration & Enhancement Manual.
It should be noted that due to the different requirements, the parameters and their sequence in the special value <REFMAT (...)> and the handler REFMAT: MMS in the filter are different.
