Central Product Management

In the central ProNovia product management the installed components and the available licenses are displayed and various functions provided. Central product management can be reached using transaction /PRONOVIA/CUST, in SAP command field use /N/PRONOVIA/CUST.

Menu Extras

ProNovia products must generally be activated via a valid license file for the corresponding system and client. The license file is delivered by ProNovia to the customer by e-mail.

The loading of this license file must be executed once on each system via this function. The license file must be selected in a file dialog.

During the import, it is checked whether the product license versions stored in the license file match the corresponding versions of the installed products. This product license version is displayed in the ProdLizVs column for each product / component.

After a system copy, the license check recognizes this and corrects the internal entries automatically. If, for example, a productive system is copied to an integration system and the integration system was also correctly entered in the loaded license file on the productive system, the products can be used after the copy without any further action regarding licenses.

Registered licenses are released again according to the following rules:

  • Concurrent users: after one hour

  • Effective user licenses 30 days after the last use of the product or if a user account has been deactivated after seven days.

Release Date / Request

On the screen of the central product management also the release date and transport requests for the displayed product version is shown. The release date is the date when the product package was built and is identical with the date shown on the client's download page.
With a click on the number of the transport request the transport details are shown.

Used licenses

 

Tab Licenses

If the licence is limited to a certain number of users, the users assigned to a product licence are internally counted. With this function a list of the registered users is displayed, including date and time of the last use.
