What is the Form Editor Doing?

With the form editor it is possible to create new forms or adapt existing forms according to the specific needs by changing the form structure accordingly or adjusting properties of elements. Common use cases are the hiding of fields that are not required, the reordering of fields or groups, and the display of customer-specific fields.

If ProNovia forms are to be modified, it is recommended to copy them to the customer namespace (Y* or Z*) and make the modifications there. Modified ProNovia forms can be overwritten again with the next product version.

Which settings are necessary so that customer-specific forms are used by the system can be found in the corresponding documentation for the widgets.

In ProFramework, the user interface typically consists of a number of widgets, which display the form in the appropriate aspects as well as allow customization. The individual widgets are described in more detail below.
