The general ProFramework application is described in the AFW | ProFramework | User Manual.
The interface is divided into four areas:
Field | Description | |

| 1 | Form selection | Beinhaltet die im System vorhandenen Formulare. |
| 2 | Element properties | Enthält die Ausprägungen einzelner Eigenschaften von Formularelementen (z.B. eines Containers). |
| 3 | Available elements | Dieses Feld umfasst die im System verfügbaren Elemente. Die Elemente können mittels Drag&Drop in die Formularstruktur übernommen werden. |
| 4 | Workspace with navigation | Stellt die Navigation, die Formulareigenschaften sowie die Struktur des Formulars dar. |
Since the ProFramework interface is customizable, the display may differ if a layout customization has been made in your system.
