License Types

There are different types of licenses available:

• Named licenses are automatically obtained by an user and will be released 30 days after the last usage of the product/license. If a user account is disabled the reservation of the license will be released after 7 days.

• Technical licenses are named licenses, but will be provided without a limit.

Technical licenses are required because many core functionalities are provided in the general available core libraries (UTI/OBJ) but should only be accessible by the customer if at least one product is licensed which enables a core function.

Sub-Licenses / Options

For several licenses separate sub-licenses and options are available, which enables additional functions within a solution. This allows a more precise licensing model for the customer. Sub-licenses allow different numbers of licenses while options use the same number as the main license.
