When trying to access the classification data for documents without an classification (e.g. new documents) an exception is returned, even if a classification is passed in BAPI_DOCUMENT* function modules. This error occurs if the Option "Multiple Objects Allowed" is activated for the corresponding class type and the classification is accessed within the BAPI_DOCUMENT* function call. This has been corrected.
