ProConfiguration allows many settings to check data and objects and therefore guarantees an excellent consistency of the data model.

In case certain user activities (e.g. status change, object creation, object change, object usages) are not allowed, ProConfiguration will always inform the user with suitable messages.

These checks by ProConfiguration are running independently, no matter by which transaction the user starts (e.g. status change with SAP PLM Transaction MM02 or status change via ProFramework etc.). ProConfiguration allows many different types of checks. In the following chapters only examples are explained.
