Operation cloning
The clone function is used to create new structures including objects (material master records, document info records) as copy of a reference structure. Which objects will be copied, transferred or ignored depends on the selection in the dialogue. See Interface for Object Definition. It is also possible to insert new items.
Double click
With a double click on a object line, the relevant object display appears.
Context menu
he right mouse button on the relevant object line starts the context menu. Depending on the function, the object and the position in the hierarchy, different functions will be provided.

Mark all items below to clone | All objects directly below the current node will be marked to clone if possible. |
Mark all items below to transfer | All objects directly below the current node will be marked to transfer if possible. |
Ignore all items below | All objects directly below the current node will be marked to ignore if possible. |
Explode part tree | Explodes the current and all nodes below in the tree display. |
Compress part tree | The current node is compressed, the objects below are hidden. |
New item above… | Inserts a new item above the current item. See Add New Items. |
New item below | Inserts a new position below the current item. See Add New Items. |
Display object | Display transaction of current object. |
Edit object | Edit transaction of current object. Function NOT available if object can be selected for the process. |
Display original | Display of originals which are linked to an object. |
ProConfiguration Workbench & Navigator | Direct call of ProConfiguration Workbench or Navigator if ProConfiguration is installed on the system. |
Customer exits allow to add additional functions.
Selection Control Set
The clone settings to clone material masters may have several control sets. In this case, the values to be used can be selected on column "New Status" and "New Description".
Continue Clone Operation
If an existing clone operation continues, cloned objects cannot be edited.
For objects below the cloned object, the newly created BOM of the superior object any be changed.
