Maintaining the SAP Workflow environment

The ProProcess creates an SAP Business Workflow for each modeled, active process version. It is therefore necessary that the SAP Workflow environment is configured correctly.

The installation must be checked on each system and client and, if necessary, carried out.

The workflow environment is set up using transaction SWU3. The workflow customizing can be generated automatically for the most part. In order for the ProProcess to be used, the following items must be set up correctly:

For the use of ProProcess processes: Maintain runtime environment - All subitems.
For creating/maintaining ProProcess processes: Definition Environment - Prefix numbers and number ranges in all clients where workflow templates are created (see also Transports ).

Please note that the SAP workflow user (According to SAP Note 1574002) may need authorizations to change objects if processes with modeled status changes are used.
