Change Master

The following section describes the settings for the field selection for change master.

With the field selection control for change master, it is possible to protect fields, classes and characteristics of the change master against change. Corresponding settings are included into rules. The formula editor allows the definition under which conditions a rule is active.

Several rules can be active at the same time.

Fields: Are multiple rules active covering the same field, the rule defining the field as SAP Default the field is prioritized. Is no rule defining the field as SAP Default active, the rule defining the field as hidden is prioritized.

Characteristics: Are multiple rules active covering the same characteristic, the rule defining the characteristic as SAP Default is prioritized.

Classes: Are multiple rules active covering the same class, the rule which defines the respective action as "to ignore".
