Object List / Additional Fields

The object list is basically defined in the processes. In order for additional information to be consistent across processes, it must first be defined globally.

Additional fields are first defined globally and then assigned to field sets. The basis of additional fields is always a previously created data element. The data element basically defines the data type, the field length and other technical attributes of a field.-

For the display on the screen, the UI type can also be defined. It is also possible to define static values for each field. Depending on the UI type, these are either visualized directly (e.g. in a dropdown box) or otherwise validated. All numeric fields can be aggregated at runtime. An aggregation function can be preset at field level.

Globally defined fields must then be combined in so-called field sets. These field sets define the contained fields and further attributes.-
