Container extensions

The data exchange within ProProcess processes is based on so-called containers and items. With the help of container extensions it is possible to define customer-specific containers and items centrally and then activate them for individual processes. To provide these containers with data, either customer-specific tasks must be implemented or the data must be filled directly at startup using BAdI implementation (see Integration & Enhancement Manual).

Containers form a logical grouping element and combine several items.

Customer-specific containers must be created in the customer namespace. The names of the items are freely selectable. To define items, you must specify a data element or a structure.
Customer-specific container enhancements must be activated individually for each process in the data of Container of subobjects.
