Notifications

Notifications can be used to inform users about the status of process objects. Notifications are sent by SAP Mail. A notification consists of a time, a recipient list, and a text including subject line.

The following events can be used depending on the context:

• Start
  When starting the corresponding object.

• End
  At the end of the corresponding object. The end ignores the end status, while the completion and rejection times take the end status into account.

• Completion
  When closing the corresponding object.

• Rejection
  If the object in question is rejected.

• Termination
  When terminating the process

• Date
  When a defined date is reached.

• Error
  If an error occurs.-

The available recipient types are described in Members .

The defined texts are not available for all objects. However, a defined text can be used several times within the list so that several recipients are notified with the same text at a certain point in time. To create a new text, the New Text entry must be selected in the selection list. A new text can then be created using the pushbutton.
