STATUS

The MAINTENANCE_STATUS parameter defines the maintenance statuses (views) of the material that are covered by the form. If a new material is created or an existing material is changed, the material is extended by the corresponding maintenance statuses of the form. If the parameter is not maintained (or empty), then only data for views that have already been created can be maintained. For new materials, only the basic data can be maintained. The corresponding views must be specified for all data that is to be maintained, otherwise these fields will not be visible if the material does not have the corresponding maintenance status. This is particularly important for new materials if more than the basic data is to be maintained. All mandatory fields for the specified maintenance statuses must be available for maintenance, otherwise the material may not be saved. The order of the maintenance statuses is not relevant. Example: ALVED.

CHANGE_MODE

The parameter for the automatic change mode can be used to specify whether related (usually superordinate) objects should automatically be placed in the change mode as well. This enables the maintenance of different organizational units in the same form. The option is active by default. Example: The parameter can be used to specify whether the material (MARA) on a plant-specific (MARC) form can be changed automatically or not. It may be useful to disable the option for specific forms to prevent locking problems when maintaining data for different organizational units.
