Relocate modelling clients for processes

The relocate modeling clients program (ProProcess utilites or transaction /PCH/BPF_UPD_CPRC_LS) can be used to move processes and the associated workflows to a new development client (see Relocate Processes to a new modelling client).

For relocating the modelling client of professes, the authorization object /PCH/BPFCF with function WF and activity 02 is required.

Relocate to current client

When executed in Relocate to current client mode, the selected processes are moved to the current client. The processes can then be edited in the current client.

The process and any associated workflow must have been completely imported into the new modeling clients.

The process must then no longer be changed in its original development client.

Relocate to another client

When executed in Relocate to another client mode, the modeling client is set to another logical system. The process can then no longer be edited in the current client. This is particularly useful to prevent accidental editing of a process in the original development client.
