Delete Runtime Data

The tool for deleting runtime data is an administrative function that can delete runtime processes the system without further dependencies. This may be necessary, for example, to remove processes with inconsistent process definitions.

Removed are:

  • All BPF runtime data for the identified processes.

  • The workflows of the processes including all work items that belong to these workflows.

Synchronous sub-processes up to BPF V3 are embedded workflow sub-flows. This means that they cannot (technically) be deleted individually. If a process that is a sub-process or has sub-processes is deleted, the entire workflow hierarchy is always deleted.

To delete runtime data, the authorization object /PCH/BPFAD with the authorization function 1900 (delete process) and, if necessary, access to the transaction /PCH/BPF_RESET_RT are required.
